560 SEYMOUR STREET, VANCOUVER

On February 2015, Frameworq launched a 2 months Upcycling Project with a group of independent designers and fashion design students to explore different ways to upcycle used clothes into contemporary, ready to wear garments.

Designers were challenged to think outside their usual design process and push the limits of their imagination to find the best method to work with used clothes as raw materials in way that can be translated into real world production restraints.

Designers were asked to create 2-3 looks and design a mini collection all made from post-consumer materials (used clothes) while maintaining cost, quality and fashion in mind.

Now, that the Upcycling Project is over, we can't wait to show you all the amazing designs in an explosive
